This deliciously simple and sweet fall dessert is the best of both worlds. It shows off the flavors of the season, AND takes only a few simple ingredients so anyone can do it! Wanna bring this to your holiday festivities? Here's how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made unbaked pie crust
  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus extra for sprinkling)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for crust edges)
  • A handful of Tom & Jenny’s caramels, melted

Steps:

1.) Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your pie pan with butter or cooking spray.

2.) In a small bowl, prepare the filling by mixing the brown sugar substitute, softened butter, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon into a paste.

3.) Roll out the pie crust into the pie pan and arrange the apple slices in the center of the crust, leaving about a 2-inch border around the edges.

4.) Spread the brown sugar substitute mixture evenly over the apples.

5.) [OPTIONAL] Drizzle the apples with honey.

6.) Fold the outer edges of the crust over the apples, overlapping slightly as you go to create a rustic border.

7.) Brush the folded edges of the crust with melted butter, then sprinkle with a light dusting of cinnamon.

8.) Bake the galette for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.

9.) Once out of the oven, let the galette cool slightly, then melt your caramels and drizzle them generously on the galette

10.) Slice and serve warm, optionally with your favorite low-sugar vanilla ice cream or whipped topping!
