Our friend, Anna at baconbutterbourbon.com (@baconbutterbourbon on instagram) is a keto foodie with some delicious recipes! She created a super fun, super easy turtle recipe using our classic caramels and choczero chocolate chips. We just had to share it! Enjoy Anna's original post below:
Arrange three pecan halves in clusters on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Carefully form Tom & Jenny's caramels into flat circles and set on top of the clusters. Bake at 350 for 3 to 4 minutes, or just until the caramel melts—watch carefully.I love this recipe because it’s super simple, fast, and delicious...my favorite things. Annnnnd they’re only about 1 net carb a piece!
Melt a small handful of Choczero milk chocolate chips for 30 seconds in the microwave and stir until smooth. Spoon a small amount on top of each cluster and sprinkle with some coarse sea salt.
Notes about the caramels: these are zero net carb and have a lovely taste and a soft, chewy texture. They do contain maltitol and xylitol, so know what works for you and your body and be careful around the pets!
